Born in Portland Maine, Margaret’s family relocated to Tolland Mass when she was just an infant. She interned at a child care center in The Farmington Valley during high school. She studied Early Childhood education at the University of Hartford, where she received her head teaching certification. After fourteen years of dedication to working with kids, she was asked to be a business partner in an amazing environment devoted to young children and providing a positive growth environment. Margaret is happily married to her soul mate of 14 years. They live a simple life in a small town on the outskirts of Connecticut with their two young boys. Together with her boys or alone, she enjoys library visits, mountain biking, bike trail rides, weight lifting, cooking, gardening, live music and of course a good night of laughter with great friends and family.
Meg’s Runitlikeamom Run-Down:
* I am Madly in love with my two boys ages two and four, Dylan and Wesley.
*I am a full-time Director and Toddler teacher.
*My fitness goals are to be competitive and engaged in mental and physical actives, while reaching to achieve triathlons and trail racing and downhill skiing.
* My current obsession is weekly personal training sessions strength training and weight lifting.
*I can’t put my finger on just one comment my children have made that stands above the rest. I do have a personal goal of writing those memories down and putting them in a jar to be shared at my sons’ wedding rehearsals.
*Like any mother we want nothing more than to make our children safe, healthy and happy. If I was stranded with only my children on an island I would have 3 major survival items: a knife, lighter flint, and a pan. These items would allow me to protect, provide and entertain my children.
* Current indulgence…Would have to be homemade soup and wings while snuggling up watching a football game and crafting in my pajamas with my boys!
