You know when you’re feeling like you just can’t get it right? When you think you’ve been there for your family, and aren’t; when you’re prepped to give a topnotch presentation at work, and don’t; when you know you bought your friend the best gift ever, and she says she got that last year; when you think you’ve pooped a rainbow, but it’s just poop? Basically, I’m talking about those “wow, I kinda suck” moments. We all have them, life is full of them, but it doesn’t necessarily make you feel better knowing it. However, I recently found something that does help. I was reminded of a fellow blogger’s post from a while back entitled, “Picture it…” In this post Anna talks about how the beauty of a picture goes beyond the image itself. She says,
Having these mementos to look back on, when the road gets rough, reminds me there is always something to smile about. There is magic in the little things, be sure to look for it…
So I’ve been doing that and realized in just three weeks time, there really are so many things to make me smile…and my heart happy.
See? I feel better already 🙂
